Pine essential oil (Pino Sivestris)
INCI: Pino sillvestris essential oil
Pine essential oil has traditionally been used in rheumatic disorders, respiratory problems and various inflammatory diseases such as asthma, allergies, rheumatoid arthritis.
It acts as a bronchodilator (relaxes the bronchus muscles, making it easier to breathe), mucolytic (dilutes mucus) and relieves excessive cough. Metabolism of monoterpenes produces compounds such as alcohol, which also have antiviral activity.

It is usually combined with black spruce oil, in concentrations of 5-10%, which is applied to the kidney area 2x a day.
